The personal training account (CPF) ?

In France, the personal training account (CPF) is a public financing system for continuing education.

The CPF is open to any active person over the age of 16. This individual account is effective throughout one's professional life. It is not linked to the employment contract.

Conditions

  • Private sector employees
  • Job seekers (whether or not they are registered with Pôle emploi) or people on a professional security contract.

The personal training account can no longer be used when the beneficiaries claim all their retirement rights.

The account is reactivated in the case of a combination of employment and retirement.

In addition to the CPF, all employees benefit from a professional interview every two years and a professional assessment every six years.

For a full-time employee, the personal training account is credited with 24 hours per year until 120 hours are acquired, then 12 hours per year until a maximum of 150 hours is reached.

For a part-time activity, the calculation is made in proportion to the hours worked.
